By Royal Invitation: Celebrating Our Work with the King’s Trust at Buckingham Palace
We're proud to share that Lynne Garbutt (Head of HR) and Patryrcja Kazmarek (HR Coordinator) attended a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday (13th May), recognising our ongoing partnership with The King's Trust.
Patrycja and Lynne were invited to this special event to celebrate Torque's continuing work supporting young people through The King's Trust's life-changing programmes.
The event was an unforgettable afternoon against the stunning backdrop of Buckingham Palace gardens. Guests from across the country gathered to mark the positive impact being made in communities, and our team were right at the heart of it.
It was a chance to step away from the day-to-day and into something a little smarter – both team members looked the part in their garden party best, soaking up the atmosphere and reflecting on the journey so far.
"It was such an inspiring afternoon," said Patrycja. "To be surrounded by so many people who care about creating real opportunities for young people was a real highlight. I felt proud to represent Torque."
""The setting was incredible – but what really stood out was the energy and positivity of everyone involved," added Lynne. "It's a great reminder of why we do what we do.""
Torque's work with The King's Trust has been focused on creating practical opportunities in the logistics and supply chain sector – giving young people access to real training, guidance and future employment. We've seen first-hand the determination and potential of the young people coming through the programmes, and we're incredibly proud to be part of their story.
The event was a reminder of just how powerful partnerships like this can be, it's a collaboration we value deeply, and seeing it recognised on a national stage is something we'll never forget.
We want to thank The King's Trust for the invitation and for everything they do to support the next generation.
Keep an eye out – we’ll be sharing more stories from our work with the Trust throughout the year.
