Simon on the Streets hold their 2020 Christmas dinner, in August, with Christmas gifts donated by Torque.

Last week, Simon on the Streets, one of Torque's community partners, held their annual Christmas dinner.

Although Christmas in August seemed an odd concept initially, the team and their clients soon got into the Christmas spirit, with holiday songs playing in the background, festive decorations, and a delicious traditional Christmas dinner.

Torque donated gifts for Simon on the Streets' clients, comprising toiletries, sweets, chocolate, and soft drinks.

“Simon's Christmas was a chance for our clients to enjoy the Christmas dinner that was unfortunately cancelled last year due to Covid-19. Thanks to kind donations from Torque, we were able to provide each of our clients with their own Christmas presents. Christmas is all about giving and we are so grateful to Torque for gifting our clients Christmas presents.”

“We were thrilled to be able to help our friends at Simon on the Streets in this small way. The work they do in our communities is nothing short of angelic. We are so glad they all got the Christmas party they so deserve, after an incredibly tough 12 months.“
