Maejer Golf tees off with Torque
Golf apparel brand Maejer Golf has chosen Torque as its fulfilment partner, launching this week with its first collection.
Maejer is the new venture from a team of golfers, founded by footballer Mason Mount and rugby's Owen Farrell. Behind the product sits James Gullick, formerly a senior creative force at British streetwear label Represent. The brand launches with a first collection of polos, windbreakers, gilets and outerwear built for the round and the rest of the day. It sells online and ships worldwide.
Most brands come to a 3PL with a history behind them. Maejer arrived with a launch date in front of them, which is a different kind of trust to be handed.

Torque is handling fulfilment, courier and returns from its 350,000 sq ft Wigan site.
For a brand at launch, having it all under one roof means one team to call when it matters, which in launch week is most of the time. Returns run on Loop, a partner we work with across a number of our brands, so that side is sorted from the first order too.
It's great to see a new brand hit the market; it gives us pride to work alongside Maejer Golf to launch their business. The setup was very smooth, with weekly calls prior to go-live and working through the project plan, which in turn allowed us to launch 5 days earlier than expected, and we've already shipped a volume of orders.
