An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Team Leaders to join our team based at our Castleford site.

The purpose of the role

The purpose of this role is to support the Operations Supervisor in managing service levels across the department.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide employees with feedback on their performance levels
  • Assist with the management of poor performance
  • Inspect equipment to identify shortages and damages and relay the findings to management
  • Resolution of conflicts between employees
  • Facilitate effective communication between management and employees
  • Carry out stock checks to ensure the required conditions are met and all documents are accurate
  • Ensure the required level of hygiene on the contract is maintained at all times
  • Inform the relevant people of issues that arise and assist in finding resolutions

Person specification

  • A thorough understanding of all operational processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good IT skills (MS Office and Warehousing Systems)
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Able to use initiative and organise own workload
  • Self motivated
  • A flexible approach to work and the ability to work with changing demands (including shift patterns)
