Meet our June Top Torque Teammate
Each month, Team Torque votes for a teammate that they think deserves recognition for living our values and just generally being a bit of a superstar. From those nominations, one teammate gets selected as the Top Torque Teammate of the Month and wins £100, and the well-deserved kudos, of course!
This month our terrific team were voting for their colleagues who they think ‘Go the Extra Mile.’

How long have you been at Torque, and what attracted you to this position?
"I have been at Torque for 17 years, and I've worked on multiple contracts and in multiple roles! I started as a warehouse operative, then moved to an admin role, and after a few more years, I was promoted to a supervisor position. Even though we get very busy, I have enjoyed being with Arsenal; there is never a dull moment. I was attracted to the position as it creates opportunities to learn new skills."
What do you love about being a part of Team Torque?
"The camaraderie and support. Being a part of Torque is like having a huge family. You become friends with lots of people you meet along the way. Torque offers many opportunities to grow within the company."
Which skills or qualities have helped you succeed?
"I believe that as long as you have good communication skills, patience and work hard, you can do anything. If your team needs help, help them. If you look after your team, they will know they can always rely on you and approach you if needed."
Can you share a memorable or proud moment from your time at Torque?
"Many good things have happened while I have been at Torque; I cannot just pick one! I'm sorry, it is too tough a choice."
What makes you happiest?
“I enjoy spending time with my 12-year-old son, Marcus, he is an aspiring footballer. I go to football training every weekend. He has made man of the match a lot of times. When I am not at work, I spend my time with my son,"
