Torque Honoured for Community Defibrillator Work

At Torque, we’re committed to making a positive difference in our communities. Recently, we were delighted to receive an award from Public Access Defibrillators UK, presented by the Lord Mayor of Leeds, in recognition of our support for the installation of six new Community Access Defibrillators in West Yorkshire.

The award ceremony, held at a special event hosted by Public Access Defibrillators (PADs) UK, celebrated organisations and individuals dedicated to improving emergency response capabilities across Yorkshire. Torque's achievement was honoured alongside many other community groups and individuals whose efforts are helping to save lives every day.

Morgan Cope, Torque's Engagement and Marketing Project Manager, who oversaw the defibrillator installation project, accepted the award on behalf of the company.

"Being part of this life-saving initiative is a true privilege," said Morgan. "We're proud to contribute to the safety of our communities and to support efforts that can make a real difference."
