About

Torque

We’ve expanded beyond those roots in our Yorkshire heartland (Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield), to premises in Castleford, Wigan, Manchester, and Heathrow. For full details on each site, click here. Whilst our local communities are central to our company ethos, our reach is international, operating in ports and airports across the globe enabling us to satisfy our customers' demands, whatever and wherever they may be.

We've made substantial investments in technology across our business to ensure that in all aspects of our service we remain one step ahead of the ever-changing retail landscape, supporting our customers to innovate and grow.

By taking care of their supply chain – from ship to store to customer’s door – we enable the dynamic, fast-growing brands with whom we work to concentrate on doing what they do best: looking after and expanding their business.

We understand the drive for growth as it’s a journey we’ve been on ourselves. We’re motivated to do everything we can to help our customers realise their ambitions, and we prove it by regularly going the extra mile on their behalf.

Meet our Community Partner

HomelessHampers_logo_primary_RGB

Torque has teamed up with Homeless Hampers, a West Yorkshire organisation that supports people experiencing homelessness and those in poverty by providing essential supplies and advice.

Throughout the year, we’ll be hosting our usual on-site fun-raising events and supporting the charity more directly via volunteering. Team Torque has been asking for opportunities to be more hands-on with our community partners, and Homeless Hampers has projects that allow our team to do just that.

A little on our Community Partner Scheme

Every year, Torque supports a charity or organisation that makes a difference in our communities; they become our Community Partner.

Each of our sites organises and participates in fundraising activities. The proceeds are shared between the chosen projects, with the business supplementing the final total.

Over the years, partners have included Community Defibrillators, Andy’s Man Club, The Brick Project (Wigan), The Conservation Volunteers (Leeds), Inn Churches (Bradford), Meanwood Valley Urban Farm (Leeds), Crigglestone Daycare (Wakefield), Bradford Disability Sports and Leisure, Wakefield Riding for the Disabled, Rainbow Ward, Wigan Hospital, Simon on the Streets (West Yorkshire), and Guide Dogs (South & West Yorkshire).
